amitriptyline for chronic pain::The only thing that was successful was steroids, which indicates that it is still affecting my immune system.
I have been on amitriptyline for about six weeks and am sooo sleepy now, besides being in pain.
Also, seem to feel a lot of rage.
Is that a side effect?
Anyone had a similar experience?
Just decided to go off of it.
Pain remains the same, but now not complicated by the fatigue and grogginess of the amitriptyline.
I wonder if doctors put us on it just to keep our bodies half asleep and therefore more pain free.
Not a great solution, if you ask me.
Yes, doctors suspect fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, post viral illness type of thing.
